Welcome to the inaugural newsletter of Curry & The Keeper. If you received this newsletter, it’s because you are a Cork Soaker, shared your email, made a donation, sent us wine or just asked a question. So we added you to our email list. Of course, if you want to opt out and miss all the fun, we understand.
As we are headed to Episode 39, we’re taking Curry & The Keeper to a new level. Here’s what’s new:
We have a lot to talk about so we’re recording weekly now starting tomorrow, May 17th.
We now have a PayPal account! You can still donate satoshis through your favorite podcast app (we recommend Fountain), but for those still hesitant to navigate the Bitcoin world, we’ve made it easy with PayPal. As always, we really appreciate your time, talent, and treasure!
Your support means the world to us. Donate any amount you want - it’s value for value, baby! Donations between $50-$99 receive an Associate Executive Producer credit and donations $100+ will be an Executive Producer for that show.
You too can become a Sommelier - well, sort of. All donors are automatically cork soakers and a proud member of Vineyard Nation. Once you reach $500 in total donations, you are a Certified Sommelier; $1,000 you’re a Master Sommelier.
What? You get wine glasses? Every Certified Sommelier and Master Sommelier will receive a pair of Curry & The Keeper wine glasses — you know, so you can drink with us! Every time your donation reaches the $500 level, you’ll get two glasses. You could have a set of four glasses in no time! And they’re quite the conversation starter. Here’s the thing — it’s the honor system so you have to keep your own accounting and since this is new, we’ll start tracking with Episode 39.
Bitcoin Bonus: if you donate in satoshis, your donation is automatically 1.5 times of that day’s USD. We can help with that calculation so no worries.
Of course, new things will pop up and we’ll figure it out as we go along. Thank you for joining us on the journey. We appreciate you, our Cork Soakers, and you’re helping our little podcast come to life. Let’s continue to laugh and drink wine.
I could think of worse outcomes than Adam doing a "Wine With the Wife" podcast and John launching a "Making Meals with Mimi" podcast as the long-threatened exit strategies.
This will be fun :)
